A cute bag for your cards

I created this bag to make for a Card Club I have every other Friday.
I took the idea from Amy Celona, and you can download her tutorials for free! She is very creative and talented...visit her blog and you'll love it!

Six cards can fit in this bag and it is a very elegant way to keep cards handy in your office, or to give out as a gift.

Hope you like it and try it out. Enjoy!

colourQ Challenge #91

For this card, I was inspired by our Idea Book & Catalog. I love this stamp set. Every time I use it, I find a new way to combine the stamps...and you can create a card with only this set, because even the sentiment is beautiful.

"Life is a matter of moments." It makes me stop and think how true it is, enjoy the moment and live each day at a time. It is very easy to say it, but not so easy to live it because with all our responsibilities and daily duties, we forget about the simple things that make our lives so valuable and blessed.

Hope you like my creation! God bless you all! Enjoy!

All the products in the new catalog will be available for purchase on July 1st, so start preparing your wish list, lol! Hope you like my creation!

The Paper Players #51

Hi everyone!
I'm back again after almost a week of not posting anything. Phew! I have my ups and downs. During my ups, I get inspired and post every day, I go here and there...I get tired just by writing everything I do. That's my personality, I am very active and full of energy most of the time. I wake up every morning looking forward to doing something new and different.

But lately, I've been in one of my downs, which means I don't feel like myself because I am not full of energy and sometimes I only want to rest and do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Boo hoo! And at those moments, I feel like I'm failing you, those of you who are waiting for my creations or looking forward to a post.

I hope you don't have those boo hoo moments! Anyway, right now I'm getting out of one of those moments, so I'll be posting more cards this coming week. Sorry about that but never hesitate to write to me if you have any questions or for any reason you may want to contact me!

Have a great day! God bless you all and I hope you like what I created for The Paper Players!

Anything goes for The Paper Players

I keep on creating my own backgrounds. I saw this technique on YouTube and it's called "Wax Paper Resist Using Embossing Folders" and I thought it was just right to participate in this week's Anything Goes Challenge!

If you would like to know how to make this technique, you can see the video here or just send me an email and I'll be glad to explain it to you. The tree on my card was painted with daubers.

I made the Get Well Soon card with the same technique but in this case, I painted the flowers with watercolor and added a touch with Tangerine Tango marker, and finished with pearls.

I hope you like it! God Bless you all and enjoy!

Text Color Trends Challenge

When I saw the color scheme for the Text Color Trends Challenge I thought it was going to be a very boring card, and without any bright colors it would look like something was missing. But as usual, I found inspiration in our catalog, and I started combining the four colors and this is what I came up with. I was very happy with the results and I'm so happy I took on the challenge!

Enjoy!

Mojo Monday 193-Round or Square

I love to make the type of flowers this card has because they look so fluffy.

For this specific flower, I dyed the petals with Daffodil Delight Ink Pad. Then I placed them on a tissue paper and sprayed them with water, so the ink smears on the paper flowers and dyes them evenly. I then crunched the tissue paper with all the petals inside, opened it up and arranged the petals on a dry tissue paper and let them dry. Once dry, I assembled them and held them together with a brad...puffed up the petals et voilĂ !

Hope you like it! Enjoy!
