A "Kind" card for the Color Q challenge

What a beautiful combination!! I love  early espresso, real red, daffodil delight and so saffron, and the way they work together. Trying to find a good design for this challenge, I got inspired by our idea book and catalogue 2010-2011. I kept the idea of creating my own background, and in this particular card I embossed twice, first clear embossed and then embossing with the polka dots folder through the big shot. I also embossed the flower to give it a different look.
Hope you like my creation!!!! Enjoy!

Flowers for Mojo Monday

Another sketch for Mojo Monday! I love to create backgrounds, and in this card I did so by stamping the Awash With Flowers Stamp Set using different inks. After that, I embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots folder through the Big Shot.

What I like about creating my backgrounds is that it makes them unique and, according to the colors you want to use for the card, you can match them with your background. This way, it's not necessary to have all the Designer Series Papers in order to match the colors you want to use. Simply by having a stamp set, inks and markers, you can create any background you want.

Hope you give it a try! It's so much fun. Enjoy!

Happy Thoughts for The Paper Players #48

Another week to play with The Paper Players! I flipped the design to be able to play around with this cute stamp set from the Summer Mini Catalog. I fell in love with this stamp set the first time I saw it. Since I love color, this is a perfect set to color with watercolor, re inkers, pastels or markers (as I did).

I created the background with the fresh look of the flip flops and the water effect was given with Crystal Effects. And I loved the idea of using the "happy thoughts" sentiment, as kids always have happy thoughts so we can have happy days more often. Sometimes as adults we forget how happy we were when we were kids, carefree and without responsibilities. Well, at least without the same responsibilities we have as adults, and which make us forget how to be happy and grateful for the simplest things around us.

Hope you enjoy my creation today and have a happy day! Enjoy and God bless you all!

Today I want to share with you this card that my friend and fellow Stampin' UP! demonstrator, Gisela Lemus, created for this week's Mojo Monday contest. A little something in watercolor...and new Summer Mini Catalog

Today I wanted to share with you these two cards that I made to teach at a workshop I held here at home. I wanted to get my "students" to experiment with color...and what better way to do it than with watercolor pencils!

Also, don't forget that the Summer Mini Catalog is here! Feel free to check it out here! And don't hesitate to contact me for anything you may need.

Enjoy!
