Father's Day card for colourQ #141

Hi everyone. I don't know why, but each time that I think of a masculine card this stamp set (The Open Sea 123032)comes to my mind. Since the very first time I purchased it, I fell in love with this set. I love to watercolor the boat, and all the elements in this set have that vintage look that goes great in a vintage card, and in a non so vintage card like mine also. Hope you like what I created for colourQ challenge #141!

Hola a todos. No sé porque cada vez que pienso en una tarjeta masculina este sello (The Open sea 123032) me viene a la mente. Desde la primera vez que compré este sello, me enamoré con este set. Me encanta pintar watercolor en el bote y todos los elementos de este set tienen una apariencia envejecida que va muy bien en una tarjeta con ese look, y en otra no con tanto look envejecido como la mía. Espero les guste lo que he creado para colourQ challenge #141.

Feliz Día del Padre for the Friday Mashup #60

Another challenge for the Friday Mashup! Father's day is close and because the theme of Holly's challenge is boys and a sketch, I decided to dedicate this card to my husband who loves boats. Unfortunately, the stamp set "The Open Sea" and the DSP "Nautical Expedition" are discontinued. They have been released in a mini catalog and are no longer available in Stampin Up! Sorry about that but since I bought it I used it only once and I thought it was a good opportunity to create something with it for this challenge.

I stamped the boat on watercolor paper with StazOn, and using the Aquapainter (103954) and classic inks I colored it in . Then I distressed the edges using the Cutter Kit (106958) and Crumb Cake ink.Hope you like it!

Otro challenge para el Friday Mashup. El día del padre esta cerca y como el tema de este challenge es hombres o niños y un sketch, decidí dedicarle esta tarjeta a mi esposo que le gustan los barcos. Desafortunadamente el set de sellos "The Open Sea" y el papel de diseño "Nautical Expedition" están discontinuados. Ellos salieron en un mini catalogo y no están mas disponibles. Lo siento! Pero es que este set de sellos desde que lo compre lo había usado solo una vez y pensé que ésta sería una buena oportunidad para crear algo para este challenge.

Para hacer el barco, estampé el sello del bote en papel de acuarelas usando la tinta StazOn, y le di color  usando los pinceles Aquapainter (103954) y tintas clásicas. Luego envejecí el borde utilizando el Cutter Kit (106958) y tinta Crumb Cake. Espero que les guste.
