This will be my last card as a member of Our Creative Corner's design team. There were some changes at the OCC and I have to say goodbye. I am so thankful for having been part of the team for almost a year. I really had the honor to work with a group of very talented ladies and I have learnt a lot from every single one of them, I am going to miss them dearly. Things move on and changes challenge me, so I am ready to endeavor new opportunities.

FM #106

Happy Friday everyone! The challenge for the Friday Mashup for this week is about colors. The colors we have to use to create our project are, Sahara Sand, Wisteria Wonder and Perfect Plum. Tara, our hostess wants us to mail the card to someone special when it is done. Isn't it fun?

To create my card I stamped the  stamps in Papaya Collage stamp set (wood 126610 clear 126612) and the brand new Sent with Love stamp set (clear 131847), in the colors of the challenge.

Hi there! Welcome to another challenge at Our Creative Corner. Our hostess Irena, is bringing us a fun challenge in which you have to create a project using at least one of these: a mannequin, stitching or item of clothing. You can also incorporate some texture, such as fabric, ribbon, floss, etc. and a metal piece, brad, pin, charm, etc. The most important thing is to have fun. Enjoy!

I created my piece using the brand new All Dressed Up stamp set (W129171 C129174) and the corresponding framelits dies Dress Up (130101). I also used French Folliage stamp set (121166) and the Labels Collection framelits (125598).

A Sketch for the Friday Mashup!

Happy Friday everyone! Erica at the Friday Mashup is bringing us a fun challenge this week, just follow the sketch and/or make it for a birthday, pretty simple huh?

I embroidered my card this time. I wanted to use the kit Simple Sent (126924) I purchased a while ago which comes with everything you need to embroidery your card and mail it when it is done. I added the piercing on the scallop border and the sentiment is from Happiest Birthday Wishes (122617).

Photo inspiration for Our Creative Corner!

Happy Saturday everyone! The new challenge for Our Creative Corner, hosts by Lori, is to create a modern inspired card/project with texture using the colors of the photo. Check out the wonderful creations of the design team. 

This card was inspired by Valerie. I created the texture inside the flower by overlapping different cardstocks with the colors of the photo. I wanted to leave a lot of white space in my card  because I wanted the flower to catch the attention with the different colors. Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Rain or shine carry your umbrella!

Lisa is our hostess for the Friday Mashup's challenge this week. We have to create a project/card using Double Z folding card and/or add an umbrella. Dont' forget to check out the creations of the design team!

For the base of the card I used the Natural Composition Specialty Paper (126917). I love this paper, it has glossy, raised patterns printed on heavy-weight Natural paper. If you look carefully at my card you are going to see the flowers, and the lines which are glossy, and add a nice texture to my card.
Then I used the Oh Whale stamp set ( W 129129  C 129132) , and the matching die Happy Whale (129403) to cut out the whale. The umbrella is from Rain or Shine stamp set ( W 126775 C 126777), the stamp is from Vintage Verses stamp set (W 129633 C 129636), and the designer paper is Sunshine & Sprinkles (126922).
