FM #89: Time to get clean

Hello everyone! Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we all feel about the tragedy that happened in Newton, Connecticut. All those families are in my prayers, God bless you all!

Another week's challenge at the Friday Mashup. This time the talented and lovely Tara is our hostess, and what she wants for this challenge is to go back to basics by making a clean and simple card, and if you want to, mash it up with heat embossing. Please visit the Friday Mashup blog to get inspired by the wonderful creations the DT came up with. I love them all.

As you can see my design is pretty simple. I used the Festival of Prints DSP Stack (126904), Winter Memories stamp set (W127934  C127937). The image was embossed with Pewter embossing powder (124114) and the bow was made with Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon (122332).

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

So here is the "Mashup" Challenge:
  1. Make a project using" Heat Embossing".
  2. Or Make a project that has a "Clean And Simple Layout".
  3. Or "Mash it Up" and create a "CAS project using Heat Embossing".

  1. Why have I never thought to emboss this image?!? It is so gorgeous and elegant! I love the rhinestone in the centr of the bow and how the cardinals pop out of the image! Absolutely, completely, gorgeous!!!

  4. Lili, this is so gorgeous! I never would have thought to emboss this image and leave it un-coloured... but it is absolutely stunning! And the bow is the perfect "finishing touch".
